Project: Three-story summer house restoration | Location: Glyfada by the sea | Completed: February 2018
Project Information
The building is one of the last characteristic examples of inter-war country houses. It was the work and residence of the well-known architect of the 30th Emmanuel Lazaridis. The man who designed, among other things, the Monument of the Unknown Soldier in Athens.
Today Lazarides’ only descendant lives in the States. He finances the restoration and renovation of the building. Being an architect himself and having kept alive his childhood memories from his summer visits to the house, has only one wish. To preserve as many features and elements of the old building as possible. His wish was trusted to us to handle.
